Terms & Conditions 

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of www.profbasu.in and the astrology, numerology, Vaastu, consultation, educational, research and related services offered by Prof. (Dr.) J. K. Basu.
By accessing this website, requesting a consultation, making a booking or using any related service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope of Website & Services 

This website provides information regarding professional consultation services, including Vedic Astrology, Horoscope Analysis, Numerology, Vaastu consultation, career guidance, relationship guidance, research-based astrological analysis, educational material and related services.
Consultations may be offered in person in Kolkata, West Bengal, or through available online communication channels, depending on the service selected and prior arrangement.
Information published on this website may also include educational, research, technical and informational material related to Astrology, Computer Science, Engineering and associated subjects. 

2. Consultation Bookings 

A consultation is considered booked only after the appointment has been accepted and any required advance or booking payment has been received.
Clients are responsible for providing accurate contact details and all information reasonably required for the selected consultation.
For astrology or numerology consultations, this may include the client's date of birth, time of birth and place of birth where relevant.
For Vaastu-related services, property, premises, location, floor-plan or other relevant information may be requested instead of birth details where appropriate.
Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect the consultation process. 

3. Appointment Scheduling & Availability 

Appointment dates and times are subject to availability and confirmation.
Where a consultation needs to be rescheduled, the client should communicate the request as early as reasonably possible.
Prof. (Dr.) J. K. Basu may also reschedule an appointment due to professional commitments, technical problems, emergencies or other unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, a suitable alternative appointment will normally be arranged. 

4. Fees, Advance Payments & Transactions 

Consultation fees may vary according to the type, scope, duration and complexity of the requested service.
An advance payment may be required to confirm a booking. The applicable fee, advance amount and payment arrangement will be communicated before or during the booking process.
Payments may be accepted through supported banking, UPI or other available payment methods.
Users should never send passwords, UPI PINs, banking authentication credentials or other confidential financial security information.
Transaction details such as payment amount, payment date, payment method and transaction reference may be maintained for booking, accounting and service-record purposes. 

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refunds 

Cancellation, rescheduling and refund conditions are governed by the separate Cancellation & Refund Policy published on this website.
Clients are encouraged to review that policy before confirming a consultation or making payment.
Where a consultation, report, analysis or other professional service has already been substantially performed or delivered, applicable refund conditions may differ from those applying before service commencement. 

6. Nature of Astrological & Advisory Services 

Astrology, numerology and related interpretative systems involve analysis and professional judgment based on the information available at the time of consultation.
No particular result, event, financial outcome, employment outcome, relationship outcome, medical outcome or other future development is guaranteed.
Astrological consultation and spiritual guidance should be understood as interpretative and advisory services and should not be treated as a substitute for qualified medical, psychological, legal, financial or other regulated professional advice. 

7. Client Responsibility 

Clients remain responsible for their own decisions and actions.
Information, interpretations, recommendations or guidance provided through consultations, website content, videos, articles or other communication channels should be considered together with the client's own circumstances, judgment and, where appropriate, advice from relevant qualified professionals.
Users must not misuse the website or services for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent or disruptive purposes.
